The EGU General Assembly 2025 is one of Europe’s leading conferences for Earth, planetary, and space sciences, gathering thousands of researchers and experts to share the latest scientific findings and innovations. This annual event provides a vital platform for interdisciplinary exchange and knowledge-sharing on critical environmental issues—including those related to air quality, transport, and emissions.
We are proud to announce that GREEN RAY will be represented at EGU25 through a scientific poster presentation by project coordinator Kati Lehtoranta (VTT). The poster, titled “Methane emissions from LNG-powered vessels,” will be displayed during Session AS3.30 – Transport and air pollution, from real-world emissions to their impacts.
Poster Session Details:
When: Wednesday, 30 April 2025
Display time: 14:00–18:00
Location: Hall X5, Board X5.65
This contribution highlights GREEN RAY’s ongoing research on methane emissions from LNG-fuelled maritime transport—an important topic in the transition to cleaner shipping and more sustainable fuel systems. The poster will also be made available online for registered conference participants.
Stay tuned for more updates from the event, as we continue to engage with the scientific community and share insights from the GREEN RAY project!
